How it all Began
Our journey began with the recognition that traditional methods of buying and selling agricultural assets were often slow and uncertain. Farmers struggled with unreliable buyers, and buyers had difficulty finding quality products without dealing with middlemen. Our founders, combining nearly a century of farming experience and over 50 years in auctioneering, set out to create a solution: BaleBid.

To participate in an auction, simply sign up for an account, browse our listings, and place your bids. Once the auction ends, the highest bid wins. For sellers, we handle the listing, marketing, and transaction processes, ensuring a smooth experience.
You can register for an account by clicking on the “Register Here” button on our website. Fill in your details, including your name, email address, and contact information. You’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions to activate your account.
To list your hay, straw, or equipment, Fill in the required details about your products, upload high-quality images, and submit your listing for review on our contact page.
Our platform supports a wide range of hay and straw types, including alfalfa, timothy, and bermuda. If you have a specific type or variety, let us know, and we can help facilitate your needs.
Valuations are based on current market trends, product quality, and other relevant factors. Our team conducts thorough market research and assessments to provide accurate and fair valuations.
Our platform charges a commission fee on successful sales. For buyers, there may be a buyer’s premium added to the final bid amount. Detailed fee structures are provided during the auction process.
Payments are made via bank transfer or cash. An invoice will be raised after the auction and payment will need to be received before products are released.
If you need to withdraw from an auction or cancel a sale, please contact our support team as soon as possible. Depending on the timing and circumstances, there may be fees or conditions associated with cancellations.
For buyers, we can coordinate delivery through our trusted partners to ensure your products arrive safely and on time. Fees may apply. Sellers will need to arrange for pickup or delivery of their products. We provide guidance and support throughout this process.
